MAN CARRYING SPLAT GUN ARRESTED ON SENECA STREET

A South Buffalo man police believe was frightening children with a splat gun containing paint balls was arrested today near a Seneca Street school, authorities said.

Salvatore C. Scinta, 29, of Pomona Street was charged with criminal possession of weapons, including the splat gun and a 24-inch knife, by South District Officers Natalie Perez and Marilyn Mack.

The officers responded to a 9:10 a.m. complaint from officials at St. Teresa's School at 1974 Seneca.
