Viola M. Jacklin died Friday (March 27, 1998) in Mount St. Mary's Nursing Home. She was 90.
The former Viola Marble, a Niagara Falls native, attended local schools.
Mrs. Jacklin moved to Torrance, Calif., in the mid-1960s and lived there until the late 1980s. During her time in California, she worked for a while at a May Co. department store.
She was active in the Women's Group of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Lewiston.
Her husband, Maurice J., died in 1970.
Survivors include four sons, Leo, Earl and Ray, all of Lockport, and Merl; four daughters, Marion Maxim of Torrance, Viola Morrison of Niagara Falls, Ont., Christine Trombley of Rochester and Ruth Miller; a sister, Doris Martin of Kenmore; 26 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
