CORNELL AIDES TO GIVE REPORT ON RABIES BAITING

A report on the success of the rabies baiting program in Niagara County will be offered by officials from the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the basement activity room of Mount View Health Facility, 5465 Upper Mountain Road.

Dr. Donald H. Lein and Dr. Laura Bigler of the college's diagnostic laboratory will present data on the annual autumn airdrop of baits laced with rabies vaccine, meant to be eaten primarily by raccoons. There will also be discussion of past and future costs of the program, which Cornell would like to continue this year.
