Ransomville driver faces 4 charges

RANSOMVILLE -- Four charges were filed against a man who ran home after his car struck a utility pole at 10:53 p.m. Sunday, Deputy Antonio DiGregorio said.

Timothy H. Jeffery, 47, of 3586 Curtis Ave. was charged with driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident, moving from a lane unsafely, and not wearing a seat belt. His blood alcohol content was measured at .17 percent.

DiGregorio said Jeffery's car was eastbound on Youngstown-Lockport Road when it crossed the road and struck a pole. A witness saw Jeffery running down Curtis Avenue, DiGregorio said. He was arrested at his home.
