WHERE TO GO AND WHAT TO SEE AT THE FESTIVAL

The Sprockets Toronto International Film Festival for Children, which includes 14 feature-length films and 34 shorts from around the world, will take place at the Royal Ontario Museum, 100 Queen's Park (ages 4 to 6); Lumiere Cinemas-Cumberland 4, 159 Cumberland Drive (ages 7 to 12).

Ticket prices are $5 (Canadian) for children; $8 for adults. Admission is required for each feature-length showing, which may include one or two shorts.

Tickets are on sale now (call (416) 968-3456; credit cards are accepted). Because theaters are small, it is expected that some screenings may be sold out. Theater-goers are advised to order well in advance of the festival.

Some merchants in the Bloor-Yorkville area are offering discounts to festival-goers, including Hazelton Lanes Avenue Road Parking and the Royal Ontario Museum.
