INMATE GUILTY OF THROWING URINE

A Wyoming County Court jury has convicted an inmate in the Attica Correctional Facility of throwing urine on a guard.

Walter King, 31, was found guilty Thursday of first-degree aggravated harassment.

He faces a prison term of 2 1/2 to five years on top of the 12 1/2 -to-25-year sentence he is serving for manslaughter.

The case was the first trial in Wyoming County since a new law intended to protect prison guards from urine and other substances took effect in 1996.
