Patricia Henry has been elected president of Coterie. Serving with her are vice president, Adele Dyce; treasurer, Joan Weichmann; assistant treasurer, Dorothy Metzler; corresponding secretary, Becky DiNunzio; recording secretary, Rita Lyons; finance coordinator, Florence Laux. The club will meet April 6 in Fanny's Restaurant. Hank Nevins, former program director and manager of several Western New York radio stations, will speak on "Shake, Rattle and Rap" to Mothers' Club of Central Park United Methodist Church at noon Friday in the church. The annual Communion breakfast of Buffalo District United Methodist Women will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in Churchill Memorial United Methodist Church, Boston, and Pendleton Center United Methodist Church. "Where the Miracle Begins" will be the topic of the Rev. Jackie Ann Rose Kraft at Churchill Memorial and the Rev. Thomas Kraft at Pendleton Center. The African Violet Society of Western New York will hold its annual violet show and sale at the Walden Galleria, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. April 5. Barbara A. Miller, district deputy grand matron of Erie District, Order of the Eastern Star, and Richard W. Reiller, district grand lecturer, will make their official visit to Lackawanna-Angola Chapter 184 April 21 at 7:30 p.m. in Lackawanna Masonic Temple. The chapter will celebrate its first anniversary April 7 with guests from other Erie chapters. Cantor Deborah Katchko-Zimmerman of Temple Beth El will conduct a community-wide women's sedar April 7 at 6:30 p.m. in the temple. A performance by the cantor will be included in the program sponsored by Buffalo Chapter, Hadassah. A memorial to the late Sylvia Lanksy, a chapter member, will be conducted and a Passover meal will be served. Muriel Segal is taking reservations.
