Albert R. Givan, 55, a retired Buffalo truck driver, died Friday (March 27, 1998) in his North Tonawanda home after an illness of 10 months.
Born in Niagara Falls, he served in the Army from 1961 to 1969 and then the Army Reserve.
He worked as a truck driver for Inter-City Truck Lines of Buffalo for 30 years until he retired in 1993.
He moved to North Tonawanda last April after three years in Wickenburg, Ariz.
Survivors include his wife, the former Helen L. Bisson; a son, John S. of Niagara Falls; his father, Alexander P. of Wickenburg; a brother, Alexander J. of Niagara Falls; and a granddaughter.
Services will be held at 4 p.m. today in Rhoney Funeral Home, 1124 Ontario Ave., Niagara Falls. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston.
