One teen-ager was taken to Erie County Medical Center by Mercy Flight while another was taken to Mount St. Mary Hospital late Friday for treatment of injuries they suffered on the Niagara Escarpment off Upper Mountain Road west of Cambria-Lewiston Town Line Road, Niagara County sheriff's deputies said.

The boy flown to the medical center suffered a head injury, deputies said.

Deputies called to the scene at 5:50 p.m. were unable to determine how the boys, ages 14 and 16, were injured. The investigation will continue today.

The names and conditions of the teen-agers were unavailable late Friday.
