I am writing in response to the article about Main Place Mall banning teen-agers after school. One woman asked: "Where are these kids supposed to go?" Why don't they go home? Whatever happened to going home after school and doing homework or housework? Whatever happened to parents making sure their children have returned home safely and asking them "How was school?" or "What did you learn today?"
This is not a racist issue, this is a kid issue. Teens should not be hanging out at the mall after school every day. They should be home studying and learning some manners. Maybe then we wouldn't need a ban at the mall.
