Yet another suburban company has been attracted to relocate in Buffalo, bringing with it a total of about 24 new and existing jobs, Mayor Masiello announced Thursday.
Visimetrics, which specializes in servicing and customizing computer-controlled machinery, will receive a $100,000 city development loan to relocate to 2290 Kenmore Ave., officials said.
Currently, the company has about 10 employees operating in two plants in Cheektowaga and Amherst. Plans also call for Visimetrics to add 14 new employees, according to a spokesman for the Buffalo Enterprise Development Corp..
"I am encouraged by the renewed faith in our area's business community and thrilled by new jobs created for city residents," Masiello said.
