Silver Charm will be on the outside looking in at the Dubai World Cup.

The favorite for the $4 million race -- the richest in horse racing along with the Breeders' Cup Classic -- got the far outside No. 10 post at Wednesday's draw in the United Arab Emirates.

Trainer Bob Baffert had only two choices when his turn came to pick: the inside or outside.

"I didn't want the inside," Baffert said. "The horse likes being on the outside, not the inside."

The winner of last year's Kentucky Derby and Preakness will be bidding Saturday to capture the $2.4 million that goes to the winner.

Two other U.S. horses, Malek and Behrens, will be in the 10-horse field at Nad Al Sheba track.

Malek, the surprise winner of the Santa Anita Handicap, will go out of the No. 1 hole.
