MAN FACES CHARGES IN STORE, MALL FIRES

A man was charged Wednesday with setting at least one of four small arson fires in a Wal-Mart store and a nearby mall that was evacuated when someone called in a bomb threat.

Sheriff's deputies said Scott O'Hara, 29, of suburban Greece was spotted in the B. Moss store in Marketplace Mall in Henrietta when a fire broke out Tuesday afternoon.

Two other stores, including a Wal-Mart across the street, were hit by fires within a 70-minute period, and a fourth fire was started in a mall dumpster.

Deputies say they believeO'Hara is linked to the other blazes but would not say if he is suspected of making the bomb threat from a mall pay phone.
