Gene Minicucci, 87, of Oxbow Lane, a retired postal clerk, died Tuesday (March 24, 1998) in Riverwood Nursing Home, Grand Island.
A native of Compo Bosso, Abruzzi, Italy, Minicucci moved to Niagara Falls with his family in 1920. He served in the Army during World War II.
Minicucci retired in the 1970s after working as a postal clerk in Niagara Falls for 30 years. After his retirement, he moved to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and then to Las Vegas before returning to Niagara Falls.
His wife, Mary Rotella Minicucci, died in 1995.
Survivors include a sister, Marianne Sauro of Lewiston.
Services will be held in Palm Mortuary, Las Vegas. Burial will be in Las Vegas.
