CLARENCE ACCIDENT CLAIMS LIFE OF KENMORE CYCLIST

A Kenmore man riding his bicycle on Main Street in Clarence was killed Wednesday when he was struck from
behind by a car.

Mark P. Maranger, 35, of Hamilton Boulevard, was pronounced dead in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital in Amherst after the accident, which occurred at 12:31 p.m. on Main at Shimerville Road. Maranger was westbound on the shoulder of the road when he was struck from behind by a car operated by Jorgen Jacobsen, 70, of Cedar Street in Akron, state troopers said.
