Niagara County Community College is eligible for $4.1 million in state construction aid for construction over the next five years, President Gerald L. Miller told the college's board of trustees Wednesday.

Miller said the aid would require matching funds from the county and the college's other resources. He said some of the money would come from charges to the companies and industries that use the college's job-training programs.

In other business, the board was informed that a search would begin Wednesday for a new president to replace the
retiring Miller.

The 18-member search committee includes members of the board of trustees and representatives of the administration, faculty, support staff,
community and students.

The deadline for applications for the $95,000 to $105,000 job will be June 1, and the board hopes to name the new president by Oct. 28 to begin work Jan. 1.
