Three Ontario men wanted for questioning in connection with a homicide in Austintown, Ohio, were seized by Thruway state police late Wednesday night at the Lackawanna toll barrier.

Shortly before 6 p.m., Austintown police asked the State Police to stop a 1998 Cadillac with three men who were believed heading toward the Buffalo area.

Troopers Eddie Scott and Garret Leffler stopped the vehicle at the toll barrier at 9:48 p.m. The three men -- Hans Herr, 51, of Orangeville; George W. Milne, 51, of Toronto; and Paul E. Smith, 39, of Toronto -- reportedly were at the scene of a shooting death involving another Ontario man.

State police turned the three men over to Ohio authorities for further questioning.
