The Lucille Ball Little Theater of Jamestown Junior Guilders were the big winners from last week's Charity Benefit Preview Day at the Bon-Ton.

Store officials Tuesday said a total of $42,500 was raised for 68 non-profit organizations in the Jamestown area through the sale of $5 tickets.

The Guilders sold the most tickets, to collect an extra $2,000 for the charities from the Bon-Ton, and also had the greatest number of ticket holders at the preview, to collect another $2,000 bonus. The total raised by that group, including the bonuses, was $6,860.

The Jamestown High School A Cappella Choir sold the second highest number of tickets, while third place went to the Chautauqua County Chapter of the American Red Cross.
