Albert Maturani, a maintenance worker and former grocery stock clerk, died Monday (March 23, 1998) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a brief illness.

Maturani, 69, of Whitney Avenue, was born in Niagara Falls.

He had worked for many years as a stock clerk for the former A&P store, until it closed in 1975. He then worked in maintenance at Walker's Laundry until he retired in 1992.

Maturani is survived by a brother, Patsy, and three sisters, Mary Federici of Lackawanna and Virginia Gargano and Lillian Bertoia, both of Lewiston.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 620 Center St., Lewiston, after prayers at 9:45 in Otto Redanz Funeral Home, 2215 Military Road, Town of Niagara. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston.
