Raymond D. Miller, 79, of Walnut Avenue, a retired employee of General Abrasives, died Monday (March 23, 1998) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a long illness.
A native of Buffalo, Miller moved to Niagara Falls with his family when he was a child. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II, and he fought in the Battle of the Bulge.
Miller worked as a millwright for General Abrasives for more than 15 years until he retired in 1984. He was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church.
His wife, the former Shirley Barr, died in 1990.
Survivors include a daughter, Claudia M. Peek; two sons, John M. of Brookfield, Pa., and Charles F. of Amherst; and four grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Rainbow Boulevard at Second Street. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston.
