POLICE APPEAL FOR HELP IN KAMINSKI HOMICIDE

Wyoming County authorities today issued an appeal for information on Casey Kaminski, the North Buffalo man whose bludgeoned body was found in a ditch Friday in the Town of Bennington.

"We'd like to speak with anyone who saw Casey from March 14 to last Friday," Wyoming County Undersheriff Ron Ely said. "All information will be kept confidential."

Ely and members of the Buffalo Homicide Bureau are cooperating in the investigation of the murder of the 22-year-old Merrimac Street resident.

Although Ely declined to provide exact details about the death, he said Kaminski suffered "trauma to the body."

Kaminski was first reported missing to Buffalo police on March 17.

People with information can contact the Wyoming County Sheriff's Department at 786-2255.
