Marian J. Sabato, formerly of Summer Street, died Sunday (March 22, 1998) in Westfield Health Care Center after a lengthy illness. She was 84.
A native of Fredonia, the former Marian Polvino worked for the G.C. Murphy Co., the Bake Shop and the Fredonia Seed Co.
She was a member of St. Anthony's Church, Share and Care Center of Fredonia and the United Senior Citizens Group of Fredonia. She was an avid card player.
Her husband, Victor Sabato, died in 1983.
Survivors include two sons, Frank of Albuquerque, N.M., and Daniel; a brother, Joseph Polvino of Dunkirk; and four grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Anthony's Church, Cushing and Orchard streets. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
