Charles Cipolla Sr., 85, a retired employee of the former Harrison Radiator Division, General Motors Corp., died Saturday (March 21, 1998) in the Odd Fellow & Rebekah Health Care Facility, where he had been a resident for some time.
A native of Manhattan, he had worked for 26 years at Harrison before his retirement.
He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of Post 2535, Veterans of Foreign Wars.
His wife, the former Frances Provenzano, died in 1967.
Surviving are a son, Charles; two daughters, Joanne Ferris and Elizabeth Green; a brother, Benjamin of Connecticut; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 391 Market St., after prayers at 9 in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
