ACKER SCHOLARSHIP BALL TO AID MINORITY STUDENTS

The Buffalo Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity will hold its fourth annual Daniel R. Acker Scholarship Ball at 6 p.m. Saturday in the Buffalo Hilton.

Proceeds will benefit a scholarship fund for minority high school seniors who will attend a four-year college or university in the fall.

The fraternity, one of the largest black fraternities in America, has awarded more than $8,000 in scholarships over the past three years.

Tickets are $30 per person.
