Energy experts will meet April 15 with business owners to discuss the impact that utility deregulation will have on local industry.
The three-hour seminar will be held at 8:15 a.m. at the Center for Tomorrow on the State University at Buffalo's Amherst campus.
Sponsored by the Erie County Industrial Development Agency and the Western New York Technology Development Center, the forum will include a panel discussion that will focus on several issues, including cooperative energy purchasing options available to commercial users of natural gas and electric power.
Mark Young, director of energy at Praxair Inc., will talk about lessons the company learned from working with utilities in a deregulated market.
The $60 registration fee includes breakfast.
