A college student discovered dead in his bedroom had cocaine in his system and suffered a heart condition, a coroner said.
Christopher Palmer, 23, died of cardiac arrhythmia, Otsego County coroner James Hurley said. The senior economics major at Oneonta State College was found dead in his off-campus apartment Thursday.
Tests showed traces of cocaine in Palmer's blood and urine. He also digested a sleeping pill, Hurley said.
