3 CHARGED AFTER POLICE FIND DRUGS IN VACANT HOME

Three young men were arrested inside a vacant Dart Street house early today where Northwest District officers found 34 bags of crack cocaine, authorities said.

Officers Monty Montalvo and Keith Vona were investigating a report of a stolen car when they discovered suspicious activity at the house in the 100 block of Dart. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of the three men shortly before 6 a.m.

James LaSalle, 17, of Breckenridge Street, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and loitering for the purpose of drug activity.

Johnny Miranda, 20, of Bolton Street, and Rick White, 25, of Chenango Street, also were charged with loitering for the purpose of drug activity.
