Mary Denz Northway, 71, of Orchard Park, a former New York Telephone Co. operator, died Wednesday (March 18, 1998) in her home.

Mrs. Northway, a native of East Aurora, lived there until 1962 when she moved to Jamestown. She moved to Orchard Park in 1968.

She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and the Bereavement Committee at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church in Orchard Park.

Survivors include her husband, Charles W.; three daughters, Mary Beth Jensen and Judy Taneff, both of Orchard Park, and Cynthia Estoff; two sons, Robert of Hamburg and Gregory; a sister, Alice Scott of Mount Laurel, N.J.; a brother, Don Denz of Elma; and 16 grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:30 a.m. Monday in Nativity of Our Lord Church, South Buffalo Street and Thorn Avenue, Orchard Park, after prayers at 10:45 a.m. in F.E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, 6575 E. Quaker St., Orchard Park. Burial will be in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Arcade.[hdkns]
