Organizers of what was supposed to have been the city's first St. Patrick's Day parade have scheduled it for next March 13 after it was canceled Saturday for a second week in a row due to snowy weather.

"With much regret, the committee will need to cancel the parade a second time in a row because of the weather," organizer Bill Dybeck said. "We're looking for better weather in 1999."

The parade, sponsored by the Dunkirk Irish Heritage Committee, was originally scheduled for March 14.
