TWO SNOWMOBILERS HURT GOING OVER EMBANKMENT

Two snowmobilers were injured after driving their sleds over an embankment, state police said.

At about 10 p.m. Tuesday, the snowmobilers, who were unfamiliar with the area, drove off a 35-foot embankment in the Town of Brunswick, near Albany, state police at Brunswick said.

Both men were taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital. Derrick Rokjer, 31, of Cohoes, was treated for leg injuries and released. John O'Brien, 29, of Troy, received head and neck injuries and was in critical condition Wednesday afternoon.
