Mary Thomson, 79, of 72nd Street, a native of Scotland and a former Carborundum Co. employee, died Tuesday (Dec. 30, 1997) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, after a lengthy illness.
Born Mary Knox in Saltcoats, Scotland, she moved with her parents to Saskatchewan, Canada, in 1924. She moved to Niagara Falls in 1932 and graduated from LaSalle High School.
She had worked for 10 years in the small-wheel division of Carborundum.
Mrs. Thomson had been a Senior Companion.
Her husband, Albert, died in 1982.
Surviving is a brother, Hugh Fabian of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday in the Lane Funeral Home, 8622 Buffalo Ave. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
