Services for Eva Williams, 89, a resident of Buffalo for 75 years, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Deliverance Temple, Church of God in Christ, 171 Sherman St. Burial will be in Forest Lawn.

Mrs. Williams died Tuesday (Dec. 29, 1997) in Sheehan Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

She was born Eva Crockett in Winston-Salem, N.C., and came to Buffalo in 1922. Her husband, Lonnie Williams, now deceased, was a railroad worker.

Surviving are a son, Lonnie Jr.; a daughter, Mary W. Owens; a sister, Connie Copeland; and 10 grandchildren.
