CUBAN BASEBALL STARS GET HUMANITARIAN VISAS

U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno granted humanitarian visas to two Cuban baseball stars: pitcher Orlando "El Duque" Hernandez, half-brother of Florida Marlins pitcher Livan Hernandez, and catcher Alberto Hernandez, who arrived Sunday in the Bahamas, after fleeing Cuba along with six others.

"El Duque" is regarded as one of Cuba's finest pitchers.

Catcher Alberto, who is not related to Livan or Orlando, played with them on the national team.
