The Red Cross is seeking blood donors today, to make up for blood supplies that have dwindled in upstate New York following the snow storm that has blanketed the central and southern parts of the state.
Five blood donation centers in the Buffalo area will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Donors should be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. The donation centers are:
Appletree Business Park in Cheektowaga.
786 Delaware Ave. in Buffalo.
4350 Bryant and Stratton Way in Clarence.
5161 Camp Road in Hamburg.
64 Broad St. in Town of Tonawanda.
