SUSPECT PUTS HEAD THROUGH WALL

A Ripley man arrested for driving while intoxicated Sunday reportedly pounded a hole in the wall with his head at the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department's Ripley substation.

Deputies pulled over Daniel Hebner, 25, of Shaver Street on Route 20 just before 1 a.m. for having a loud exhaust system. Hebner was handcuffed to a detention bench when he put the hole in the wall.

Hebner is charged with drunken driving, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
