Mary Bush Cardamone, 87, a member of Niagara Presbyterian Church, died Tuesday (Dec. 30, 1997) in Mount St. Mary's Long Term Health Care Facility, Niagara Falls, after a brief illness.
The former Mary Mickey was born in Monessen, Pa., and lived in the Town of Niagara since 1942. She had lived in the health-care facility since December 1996.
Mrs. Cardamone worked for Kimberly-Clark Corp., Moore Business Forms and Page's Whistle Pig restaurant.
She also was a member of the town's Senior Citizens.
Her first husband, John Bush Sr., died in 1939, and her second husband, Louis Cardamone Sr., died in 1958.
Survivors include three sons, George Bush of Pekin, Louis Cardamone Jr. of Memphis, Tenn., and John Bush Jr.; three sisters, Anna Spina of Ransomville, Margaret Sampey of Poway, Calif., and Sue Mason of San Marcos, Calif.; three brothers, Andrew and Charles Mickey, both of Uniontown, Pa., and Michael Mickey of Orlando, Fla.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in Lane Funeral Home, 8622 Buffalo Ave. Private burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
