Ernestine T. Horton, 50, who was employed by the Sabre Saw Co. from 1975 to 1977, died Tuesday (Dec. 30, 1997) in her Cleveland Avenue home.
The former Ernestine Bell was born in New Castle, Pa., and was a graduate of Medina High School.
Mrs. Horton was a member of St. John AME Church, where she served on the Kitchen Committee. She also was a member of the Sunshine Temple 187, International Benevolent Protection Order of Elks.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed movies.
Survivors include her mother, Cora Bell; a son, Herbert; a brother, Kenneth Allen of Jacksonville, N.C.; a sister, Carolyn Ball of Albany, Ga.; and a dear friend, Rueben Mitchell.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in St. John AME Church, 917 Garden Ave. Burial will be in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston.
