Three armed men entered a Milburn Street woman's home shortly after 6 p.m. Monday and robbed her of two Rottweiler puppies.
One of the puppies was recovered and two men were arrested, police said.
Officers Robert Joyce and Dennis McLaughlin of the Broadway Station had information that a car matching the thieves' vehicle was at a Roebling Avenue address.
Dwon Smith, 17, of the Roebling address and James D. Kenner, 16, of Freeman Street were charged with burglary and possession of a weapon and stolen property. Smith also faces drug charges after police said they found 10 bags of alleged crack cocaine in his possession.
One puppy, about four weeks old, was recovered.
A third man and the other dog were still being sought.
