TEEN ACCUSED OF OBSTRUCTING JUSTICE

A youth who allegedly sounded the air horn in the rescue truck while it was answering a call at King and Talcott streets struck a sour note with city police around 12:30 a.m. Monday.

Police petitioned a 15-year-old to Family Court for use of a motor vehicle without permission and second-degree obstruction of governmental administration after the youth became verbally abusive and physically combative with officers.

Jose Gonzalez, 23, of Deer Street was charged with disorderly conduct and second-degree obstruction of governmental administration for allegedly shouting obscenities and grabbing at officers as they attempted to place a youth into a police car.
