A memorial service for Salvatore Pezzino Jr., 39, of Buffalo, a welder and avid golfer, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Grace-Parkridge United Church of Christ, 75 Hewitt Ave.
Pezzino died last Tuesday (Dec. 23, 1997) in Roswell Park Cancer Institute after a lengthy illness.
A native of Buffalo, Pezzino was a graduate of Airco Technical Institute. He rebuilt car motors, enjoyed bowling, shuffleboard and darts and was a fan of professional auto racing.
Survivors include his wife, the former Pamela Lesswing; three sons, Salvatore III, Joseph and Nicholas; a daughter, Jamie; his father, Salvatore Sr.; three brothers, Joseph of San Antonio, Texas, Peter and Anthony; two sisters, Rose Andrews of Florida and Michelle McNamara; and a grandson.
