A PACE (People with Arthritis Can Exercise) program will be offered by Sisters Hospital this spring, meeting twice a week for six weeks. The series is conducted in conjunction with the Western New York chapter of the Arthritis Foundation and consists of exercises and activities to increase mobility and function. A diabetes management three-session course for persons with diabetes will begin next Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in Upper Mountain Fire Hall, Lewiston. Evening classes will begin Jan. 27 at 6:30 p.m. in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston. To register for either series, call 298-2145.

Free and confidential examination, diagnosis and treatment for HIV and sexually transmitted diseases is available through the Erie County Health Department Preventive Health Services Clinic.
