Eugene J. Prusak, 64, a former Attica trustee and president of the Attica Fire Department, died Sunday (Dec. 28, 1997) in Wyoming County Nursing Facility, Warsaw.
A Korean War veteran, Prusak was a meat cutter at Clor Meat Market, Batavia.
He was a member of the Attica Fire Department Exempt Association as well as a Fire Department trustee and parade marshal.
He also was a member of the Polish Falcons and St. Nicholas Club, Batavia, as well as St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Attica.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, the former Loretta Schiltz; two sons, John and James; two daughters, Ann Post of Attica and Susan Ulm of Wyoming; a brother, Donald Barth of Marietta, Ohio; and nine grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Vincent's Church.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
