For the past four years, the Buffalo area has had significant snowfall in early November. Six inches of snow fell on Nov. 12, and we got more on the 15th, 21st and 22nd. Yet winter was still a month away. Ski resorts have been experiencing earlier and longer ski seasons, extending from November to May.
Mississippi recorded 10 inches of snow on Dec. 14, something that hadn't happened since the late 1800s. Snow also fell in Louisiana, Alabama and Mexico. In recent years, farmers in Florida have lost crops to severe cold snaps.
If this is the way the weather is going to be during the coming of the supposed global warming, I'm going to buy stock in companies that make long underwear.
