SHOPPER ACCUSED OF BITING WOMAN

A 37-year-old Buffalo woman was charged with assault after she allegedly bit an 84-year-old woman on the hand during a dispute over a parking spot at the Walden Galleria.

Cheektowaga police said Saturday they still are investigating the Friday incident that resulted in the arrest of Cynthia Hall.

Police said Ms. Hall was accompanied by two other women in her car when the disagreement erupted during the height of Friday's post-Christmas shopping.

Another female motorist, whose name was not released, told police that Ms. Hall hit her in the face during the argument. When her 84-year-old mother came to her assistance, the woman said, Ms. Hall bit the older woman on the hand.

The 84-year-old woman and her daughter were treated in St. Joseph Hospital.
