Olivia B. Davis, 78, a former cook and caterer, died Wednesday (Dec. 24, 1997) in Niagara Geriatric Center on Cedar Avenue.

Miss Davis was born in Atlanta and moved to Niagara Falls in 1945.

She worked as a cook at the former DeVeaux School until 1978 and also worked as a caterer with her friend, Vera Trifmier.

Miss Davis was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, working with its missionary groups and serving on its kitchen committee.

She is survived by a sister, Miriam D. Wayman of Atlanta.

Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday in New Hope Baptist Church, 1122 Buffalo Ave.
