The average scored by all teams through 15 games this season was nearly 21 points. The Bills' undeveloped offense has managed less than 16, third-worst in the league. The Bills' seasoned defense, however, was excellent for a team left deep in a hole so often.
Does this demonstrate that Marv Levy is an excellent coach of seasoned professionals, as he proved during the Super Bowl years, but lacking in the ability to inspire and motivate youth?
There is only one person who wishes that Levy will set the record for being the oldest coach to ever coach a team, and that person is Marv himself. The rest of us want to see a winner! How much is Ralph Wilson willing to pay in dollars and fan loyalty so that Marv can set a seniority record?
If Wilson doesn't want to fire Levy, why not kick him upstairs by making him vice president for future planning, or vice president of public relations. Please, Ralph, get us a younger coach with vigor and emotion before it's too late.
