Cook Moving Systems Inc. in Buffalo, an agent of United Van Lines Inc., has received United's President's Club Award which signifies achievement of at least $1 million in sales for the United system during the past year. Cook was honored at the $9 million level.

Genco's Tooth Factory in Lancaster will produce Sculpture/FibreKor, a new product line by Jeneric/Pentron Inc. of Wallingford, Conn., that unites a high-strength fibre substructure with an aesthetic overlay of wear and stain resistant polymer-glass ceramic. The line provides an alternative to porcelain-fused-to metal metal crowns and bridges for high quality restoration at an affordable price.

Peerless Mill Supply Co., 79 Perry St., has purchased a Progrip System hydraulic hose crimping press from Civacon, a Dover Research Co. in Cincinnati, Ohio. The new coupling retention system helps to prevent expensive and dangerous leaks and spills from industrial hoses.

Empire Business Brokers Inc., a business brokering firm headquartered in Buffalo, has added three offices to its network. The addition of Bogata, Colombia; Guelph, Ont., and Los Angeles, brings the total offices to 51.

Braymiller Builders of WNY Inc. was rated 128th among the top 500 professional remodelers for 1997, according to Remodeler magazine.

Ed Taylor Lincoln-Mercury, 3900 Maple Road, Amherst, was named to the "Top 100" list of Lincoln-Mercury dealers in the United States. The dealership, rated 62nd, was honored for high customer satisfaction and the number of new cars sold between Oct. 1, 1966 and Sept. 30, 1997.

John Gartner & Co., East Amherst technical marketing consultants, produced a presentation folder for Safespan Platform Systems Inc. that describes the company's multispan bridge platform system. Safespan distributed the folder at the Protective Coatings Conference in San Diego, where it also premiered its video, written and produced by Gartner in association with Creative Concepts of WNY Ltd. Gartner also designed an Internet site for Safespan that describes how the company's innovative system can save bridge rehabilitation contractors up to 50 percent in labor costs.

Triad Marketing Group of Buffalo received a 1997 Gold Dialog Award from Promo, a national promotion marketing magazine. Triad was honored for its phone card promotion designed for Arizona Instrument, which used the card to generate traffic at a trade show. Also, Sears Custom In-Home Decorating has named Triad its agency of record for its 1998 Decorator Sales Incentive Program.

Datesweiser Furniture Corp., a locally owned and operated manufacturer of high-end custom designed furniture, has installed a state-of-the-art KOMO computer numeric controlled router. The 20,000-pound system can take commands directly from CAD-generated drawings and cut materials with extreme accuracy.
