A Memorial Mass for Ruth M. McDonald, a Buffalo native, who maintained a summer cottage at Lyndonville, will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Monday in Assumption Church, Fort Lauderdale. A burial service is planned for Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda, at a date to be selected.
Mrs. McDonald, 64, died here Christmas Day (Dec. 25, 1997) from the long-term effect of diabetes, said her son, Christopher McDonald of Lyndonville.
Raised in Buffalo, the former Ruth Reddien attended Bennett High School. Married to the late William McDonald, she had resided in Williamsville and Akron before making Pompano Beach her permanent home.
Besides her son, Mrs. McDonald is survived by a daughter, Kathleen Harlock of Cave Creek, Ariz.; a sister, Elizabeth M. Parisi of Clarence; a brother, George Reddien of Atlanta, Ga.; and a grandchild.
