LUTHER W. HAMBRUCH

Luther W. Hambruch, 78, a retired employee of the former Harrison Radiator Division of General Motors, died Friday (Dec. 26, 1997) in a local nursing home after a short illness.

A native of Gasport, he retired after 40 years service at Harrison Radiator.

Hambruch was a corporal in the U.S. Army paratroopers during World War II, and he was a member of the American Legion Post in Gasport and Post 2535 Veterans of Foreign Wars in Lockport. He also was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife, the former Isabel McCormick; a daughter, Nancy Litz; a sister, Violet Dohring; and a brother, Robert Hambruch of Newfane.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St. Private burial will be in Hartland Central Cemetery.
