Leslie R. Webb, a church elder and a longtime operator for Niagara Mohawk, died Thursday (Dec. 25, 1997) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital after a short illness.
Webb, 91, of Ridge Road, was born in Rochester and had lived in Lewiston since 1932.
He worked as an operator for Niagara Mohawk for 40 years.
Webb was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston and had served as a church elder.
He enjoyed music and played the saxophone and guitar.
His wife of 60 years, the former L. Marie Crown, died in 1992.
Webb is survived by two sons, Robert of Lagrangeville and Douglas; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Hardison Funeral Home, North Fourth and Ridge streets. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
